Decree No. 53/05 of August 15 - Legal Regime of Work Accidents and Occupational Diseases
This Decree approves the Legal Framework of Industrial Accidents and Occupational Diseases and entered into force in February 2006.
Apply to workers on behalf of others and their families as well, in general, the Angolan Workers who are abroad for a limited period of time, government service, companies or institutions and Angolan Foreign Workers working in Angola, this law aims to guarantee these people the right to compensation for damage resulting from workplace accidents or occupational diseases. Thus, we define the concept of "work accident" and "occupational diseases", establishing also the procedures to take into account following the knowledge of any of these situations. Finally, make up the classifications of disabilities and determines the legal regime should apply to forms of compensation.
Law No. 23/9 of June 15 - Law on Strike

Decree No. 5/95 of April 7 - Employment of non-resident foreign citizens
Decree No. 5 / 95 will regulate the employment of non-resident foreign nationals and qualified workers, the business sector, aiming to eliminate any irregularities arising from their use, safeguarding the rights and interests of the parties.
This law came into force on 7 April 1995, at a time when the sharp socio-economic growth it experienced in Angola, together with the increased influx of foreigners to the country made it necessary to find a compromise solution that allow one hand to introduce the foreign human resources specialist for the transmission of knowledge and contribution to the growth and development in the national sectors, and secondly to safeguard the national interest.
