The minister of Interior, Ângelo de Barros Veiga Tavares, has nominated José Paulino for National Director of SME - Service for Migration and Foreigners of Angola, thus replacing João Maria de Freitas Neto.
SME's new responsable was, till now, director of exchange and cooperation for the Ministery of Interior, charge that will now be occupied by José Damby, the ex-director of the Estate Secretariat cabinet, general Eugénio Laborinho.
This monday (29) the ceremony for nomination of the new responsables for the Ministery took place, with chairs in the Interchange, Planning and Finances, Logistics, Social Security and the Service for Migration and Foreigners.
The nominations are justified as a consequence of these areas' workers-assemblies, intended to create a more participative management.
Ângelo Tavares, who conducted the ceremony, stated that the new responsables will focus their actions in moralizing the services, with particular incidence on a bigger demand for the way of acting of the workers.
He also pointed out the need for surveing the experiences from other countries institutions (that cooperate with the Ministery), aiming for the improvement of the specialists technical habilities, mainly on the immigration, penitenciary, civil protection and firemen services.
Apontou ainda a necessidade de recolha de experiências em instituições de países que cooperam com o Ministério, convindo melhorar as capacidades técnicas dos especialistas, mormente na aplicação do serviço migratório, penitenciário, de protecção civil e bombeiros.
