One thousand and fifty passports were issued in the months of June and August of the current year by the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME), in the province of Huambo, more 40 in comparing to the same previous period.«
The start of school in the last September 10 increased the entry and exit of foreigners in the national borders. This information appears in the weekly report, presented at the forum composed of Heads of Departments, the service offices and official superiors, guests when needed.
Thirteen foreign citizens who lived illegaly in the province of Huambo were referred by the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME), in the beggining of this month, to the detention center for illegal foreigners, in Luanda, to be repatriated to their respective origin countries.
Nineteen citizens, of whom one national and 18 from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) were arrested in the last seven days by the frontier guard police in the province of Zaire for attempt to violate the border Angola/DRC.
Eleven foreign citizens, from the Democratic Republic of Congo (RDC), were arrested, in the last seven days, by the National Police in Bengo, for illegal entry in national territory.
